Climate change is a real and urgent issue. The transport sector is one of the main contributors of greenhouse gases, and we’re willing to face this head on. Having ambitious goals and a clear work plan allows us to look to the future with optimism.
We strive year after year to reduce the rate of CO2 emissions per km traveled through our fleet decarbonization plan to promote electric vehicles. Our goal is to achieve 100% of trips in electric vehicles or other zero-emission technologies by 2025 in Spain and by 2030 in Latin America.
Not only are we 30 years ahead of the UN goals by being 100% carbon neutral as of 2018, but we continue improving our emission analytics and reduction tools. Moreover, we promote responsible business by issuing compensation certificates to companies that choose Cabify as their mobility provider.
With technology as our ally, we optimize routes so that vehicles travel as few kilometers as possible without passengers, thus minimizing our environmental impact and ensuring that those who drive with Cabify get a better return for their time behind the wheel.
The challenges posed by climate change push us to find opportunities. Faced with the demographic, environmental, and political issues caused by climate change, we contribute to creating societies that are less dependent on private vehicles and offer multimodality alternatives such as sharing electric motorcycles.
