At Cabify, as part of our commitment to making cities better places to live, we work to make all our digital interfaces more accessible.
This commitment drives us to seek an adequate level of accessibility for everyone, regardless of their abilities. Our goal is to comply with Royal Decree 1112/2018, which incorporates Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications.
The mobile application is partially compliant with accessibility requirements due to the exceptions detailed below.
The following elements do not meet accessibility requirements:
Non-customizable font size:
The screen design is not yet compatible with dynamic font size.
Vertical scroll control:
Some application screens include vertical scrolling that does not respond to the focus of assistive products. Users need to use gestures to scroll and reach those areas.
Color contrast:
Although we continue working on a more accessible color palette, some screen components do not yet have sufficient color contrast. Additionally, dark mode is not yet available for all content in the application.
Non-accessible visual content:
There are some components on certain screens that display images without alternative descriptions. While we are continuously working to make our app more accessible every day, this content is generated remotely and may appear without prior accessibility control.
The rest of the content in the mobile application complies with accessibility standards, allowing for an inclusive experience for all users.
This evaluation was conducted using automated tools such as Xcode Accessibility monitor, Android Accessibility scanner, and other automated tools.
In addition, behavioral testing and barrier detection were carried out using Talkback on Android 15 and VoiceOver on iOS18.
If you encounter difficulties accessing any content or functionality of the application, or would like to share feedback and suggestions to improve Cabify’s accessibility, please do not hesitate to contact us through our app in the help section or via the following email: accesibilidad@cabify.com
We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of our services and we appreciate any comments or suggestions.
If you wish to file a formal complaint regarding compliance with accessibility requirements, you can contact us via our accessibility email or use the services of the government’s digital portal https://accesibilidad.gob.es.
Thank you for helping us improve!
