Accessibility Statement

Introduction

At Cabify, as part of our commitment to making cities better places to live, we work to make all our digital interfaces more accessible.

This commitment leads us to pursue a sufficient level of accessibility for everyone, regardless of their abilities. Our goal is to comply with Royal Decree 1112/2018, which incorporates Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications in the public sector.

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements due to the exceptions detailed below.

Non-Accessible Content

The following elements do not meet accessibility requirements:

  • Color contrast in some texts and elements

We are working on updating our brand color palette to meet legal color contrast requirements and adapt to new browsing methods such as dark mode.

  • Semantic structure errors

Because not all content is generated from the same source, there are heading structures and other semantic tags that contain minor errors. None of these issues create a severe barrier to the browsing experience.

Non-programmatically accessible elements

There are elements that cannot be focused using the keyboard or that lack a semantic identifier such as a link or button, even though they behave as such. The rest of the website’s content complies with accessibility standards, providing an inclusive experience for all users.

Images without decorative descriptions

There are some images without an enough alternative description for accessibility. These images are part of the content but they are not severe barriers for accessibility.

  • Links with unclear purpose

Some links do not have a clearly defined identifier when taken out of context.

Preparation of this Statement

  • This statement was prepared on April 2, 2025.
  • The method used to assess accessibility was an internal self-assessment.
  • This assessment was conducted using automated tools such as Wave and other automated tools.

In addition, behavior testing and barrier detection were performed using Safari 18.x on macOS 15 with VoiceOver; Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome with NVDA and Jaws on Windows 11.
