We’re continuing to make improvements so that TalkBack and VoiceOver screen readers can use our app. In addition, we’re making the entire service accessible to people with visual impairment by offering recommendations to drivers to provide an optimal service.
Chat instead of calls
The hard-of-hearing can easily communicate with the Cabify driver using the chat function included in the app.
The app's accessibility menu allows people with visual impairment and older people to easily alert the person driving your Cabify in case they need help getting to the vehicle.

Other improvements in the app
Thinking of people with visual impairment, we revised the different controls within the application so that all have a more uniform visual appearance and color contrasts are more appropriate.
We simplified the texts so that older people or individuals with disabilities can easily use the app.
The app can be used via voice thanks to the new Voice Control feature available in iOS14.
